Being my "Year of Fun", I kicked it off in grand style.   Took a couple of trips with my friends, the Gabler Clan, to the Oregon Coast and to Paulina like (a blast in the snow!).

I also attended my friends Alex & Laura's wedding in Philadelphia in April, which was a total hoot.  The next month I joined my brother in New Orleans and went to the Jazz and Music Heritage Festival (a.k.a. "JazzFest").

I also went to a fun Casino Night at Drew and Shauna's place, friends of mine here in Portland.
