Letchworth State Park - This fall was the first fall I have spent in the Northeast in over 20 years. There certainly is no rivaling the colors and beauty of red, golden, and yellow leaves as they dot the hills and crevices of Upstate New York. Below are photos taken at Letchworth State Park, about 40 minutes from where I grew up in Canandaigua, New York. It has been called "The Grand Canyon of the East", which is a stretch (pun intended), but it is a pretty incredible gorge: The Genesee River roars through the gorge over three major waterfalls between cliffs--as high as 600 feet in some places--surrounded by lush forests. My friend Ilene and I took a day trip during the height of the fall foliage. Letchworth State Park - This fall was the first fall I have spent in the Northeast in over 20 years.
