 This year marked the third year in a row that I made my annual pilgrimage to New Orleans for the Jazz and Music Heritage Festival.  The festival is held the last two weekend in April for a total of seven days, and is the largest outdoor music event in the world.  Bands I saw this year included Lenny Kravitz, The Big Bad Voodoo Daddies, John Hiatt, Jimmy Cliff, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Earl King & the Butanes, and Irma Thomas, among many others.
