What's New

I am now in Atlanta!  - That's right, Memorial Day weekend I left "The Big Apple" for "Hotlanta" - but from what I can tell it's not hotter here than NYC in the summer, but it sure smells better!  I still work for EY, and for now I am traveling quite a bit.  Once the travel settles down I will start taking photos to update the site.

As most of you know, New Orleans (or NOLA) was one of my favorite cities to visit and party in.  I made many annual trips between 1998 and 200, for both JazzFest and just for fun.  When it became clear that our national government had failed the city of New Orleans a year ago and that it would be the city most devastated in the history of our country, I felt I needed to somehow express my emotions at the time.  I created a video/audio montage entirely using photos that I had taken during my trips there.  With the one year anniversary I have put this video montage on my site; You may view the result by clicking here.

Radio JD - Not a full scale MP3 radio station, but a sampler of what I listen to, from Latino to Trance to Groove/Funk/Jam to alt.country to Blues too ... you get the  idea...  Dial in, and take a listen!

I've started to once again update my music picks, since music is such a big part of my life here in The City.  In March 2005 I saw two Latin bands I really like, and as a result of their respective opening acts discovered two more.  Click the icon to the left to learn more.

Panama - Sure, I know it's been two years since I lived there, but the country and its people are in my heart every day.  Click the link to take you to my Panama related pages.

Ten years ago I went to France.  There weren't digital cameras then, so to mark the 10 year anniversary I have digitized the pictures and started putting them on my site. Here's the first batch.

The Panama Canal  The Panama Canal  Check out my links and recommendations for this "Eighth Wonder" of the world. It truly is an amazing engineering feat, and at nearly 100 years old it's still of primary strategic interest to the United States.  New! Check out the live Panama Canal Web Cam directly from my site!
